Why Use A Professional Photographer
Let’s say you’re looking for a single family home for $250,000 or less in Santa Fe, New Mexico. You head to REALTOR.com to check out your options. 224 listings pop up. You only have a half hour. Which ones do you look at? The ones with the best, most enticing photos.
Photos are the first meeting the general public has with a home. Good photos are the handshake, the pressed suit, the dazzling smile. A poorly lit photo of a cluttered living room is the visual equivalent of limp fingers and a sneering mug.
I have a high-end professional camera, and lenses that enable me to get in close, shoot wide, brighten the scene –whatever produces a superior result. I also utilize industy standard editing software (currently CS5) to bring out the best in the photos I shoot. There’s no comparison between what I offer and the capacities of even an upper end point-and-shoot.
Take a look for yourself.
The photos below were shot with two different cameras from the same angle. The photos on the left are from a Sony DSC-T900 point-and-shoot. The ones on the right are mine, taken with a Canon 5dmarkII.
Just as important as my camera and backwork is my working style. I show up on time, work hard and stay focused. I’m also flexible and easy-going. I’ll put every effort into getting the photo right, but I won’t drive you crazy with ego antics while I do. Just ask my clients.
If you’re an agent who wants your listings to sell, or a seller who wants to give your home an edge over others on the market, turn to me and I’ll make your place standout.
